L'oreal New Infallible Collection Review

When I was shopping at Superdrug, they had offer on Loreal - 3 for 2, so I decided why not to test the new Infallible line / collection? Therefore today I have a review of the concealer and primer for you, the foundation appeared previously in a separate post if you are interested.

Loreal is the one of the largest cosmetic consortium to which many many well-known brands belong, for example Kiehl's, Nyx, Vichy, Maybelline or Lancome and others, so as soon as they release a new foundation or concealer, is a big hype around of course also thanks to advertisements. I don't hide that according to me the Loreal has good quality products, I was rarely dissatisfied. It doesn't always suit me 100% because they are for example very fragranced or too expensive as a drugstore price point but doubtless they have good quality. To my favorites belongs the True Match collection, So Cuture mascaras and lipsticks, so I had great hope that Infallible would not let me down either. Let's take a closer look to the concealer and primer.

1) L'Oreal Infallible Longwear More Than Concealer 321 Eggshel

It's really a great concealer that reminds me very much of Revolution Conceal and Define, however with a slightly higher coverage. A great option if you have a big dark circles under your eyes or you are a make-up artist and you're looking for a good alternative to the Tarte Shape Tape. The only thing that annoys me is the fact that costs £9.99 for 11 ml, so almost the same price as the foundation £10.99 for 30ml. This is a problem not only with this brand because eg Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer costs £8.99 for 6 ml when foundation Maybelline Superstay £9.99 where we have 5 times more product - 30ml. 
On a daily basis I don't need such a coverage but it will be for me a great option for emergency situations, bigger events etc. However, for everyday use will be enough something like Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer which cost only £3. L'Oreal Infallible Longwear More Than Concealer is a really great concealer which formula that can compete with these high-end.

2) L'Oreal Paris Infallible Prep and Set Essence

Primers are definitely less favorite kind of cosmetic for me, because unfortunately they often don't do anything or the opposite effect to the intended one. In this case, unfortunately it was the same, it should moisturize but instead slightly dried out my skin. Every time when I used these drops, later I had such a dry patches on the cheeks, through which obviously the foundation did not look so nice and fresh. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Infallible Prep and Set Essence, if you need a good hydration under the make-up, definitely cream will work better for this purpose than this base.

⛔Because of this primer the foundations that always looking good on me start separate and are more visible on the face

As for the Infallible line I have mixed feelings. I will definitely not use this base anymore, maybe in the summer I will try apply on exposed collarbones or arms but certainly not on my face! I liked the foundation the most, the concealer is good but I prefer more a moisturizing and light formulas under my eyes.
