Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Vs Lancome Advanced Génifique Serum

The Battle Of Two Iconic Serums
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Vs Lancome Advanced Génifique Serum

Both serum from Estee Lauder and Lancome has been hyped for years by both influencers and celebrities, so I wanted to check out what is this whole hype about and does it really change my skin ?! Were there any results and if yes, which ones to choose, answer in the next part of the post.

Each of us certainly knows the word serum but what it really is❓❔
"Serums are lightweight moisturizers that penetrate deeper to deliver high concentrations of specific active ingredients to the skin (such as hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid, and vitamin C). There are many different types of serums on the market that perform different jobs, ranging from hydration to skin brightening. Serums should be applied twice daily. They are the first products that should be applied to the skin after cleansing and toning. A sunscreen should be applied over the serum in the morning and a moisturizer appropriate for an individual's skin type should be used over the serum at night. To use, apply a few drops after you wash your face but before you apply moisturizer. Serums absorb deep into your skin, rather than sitting on the surface like moisturizers. Serums work great for specific concerns like acne, dry skin, brightness, and wrinkles"
I admit that a few years ago I did not apply any serum on my face, even honestly a moisturizing cream sporadically, that's why I have quite a lot of lacks in this category😏. Probably most of you are well-known products discussed today and I am the last person on this platform who just tried them but I hope that in some way this post will be useful for you and maybe you will learn something new.

According to my experience with these serums, I can only recommend you Lancome because it actually works. Skin is so wonderfully soft and nourished so if you only have a budget, want to spend money on something more luxurious, spoilt yourself a little or are looking for something like that as a gift, I can honestly recommend. Advanced Génifique serum is included in several skin care kits that are often more profitable and additionally we get extra products to try.
When it comes to Estee Lauder, unfortunately I am very disappointed, cheaper drugstore products works better for my skin. I didn't see any beneficial effect, so for me is a wast to spend so much money on this product and better invest in Lancome.

Which one do you think is better?
Do you use also a more expensive skin care products?

  14. All I had to read was the ingredient list. While Genifique has a few healthy ingredients, Advanced Night Repair has peptides, caffeine and quite a few other super ingredients. While the way they feel matters, the ingredients are more important. If you were sick and went to the doctor, and he prescribed you medication, you wouldn't take some other stuff because it was easier to take. You would take what the doctor prescribed. If you want results you need active ingredients and plant actives to get real results, so the efficacy heavily relies on the ingredients and by comparison, Advanced Night Repair beats Genifique. And this is completely unbiased, I actually use both and have done so for years. I would actually like to have the benefits of both just to be safe. :) not kidding

  15. I totally agree with you. First I tried with the EL serum but my skin turned out to be irritated, I thought it was just a normal thing for a person that had never used any serum like me. And sadly I did experience a break out, my skin got worse and I stopped applying anything on my face until it’s finally recovered, I decided to buy a toner from Lancome and got the serum as a sample. I’ve been using it for a few days and feel really nice, no harsh feeling at all. Honestly, I think I have found my forever-to-go serum. So glad I found someone has the same thoughts as I do.
