 Revox Just Skin Care Hit Or Miss ?!

In 2021, I want to test and discover new brands, especially skin care so there will be no reviews of my favorites such as The Ordinary or Superdrug, but their equally affordable alternatives. One of them undoubtedly seems to be Revox Just about which you will find out more in today's post.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find information on the date of establishment and from which country exactly these cosmetics are and I must admit that the name of the company is also very confusing because I don't know whether it is Revox, Revox Just or Revoxb77 hehehe..

Their assortment includes a lot of interesting cosmetics for skin care, but also for the hair. It is a company that focuses on ingredients and quality more than advertising or fancy packaging, which is a huge plus for me. However, to be honest, I was surprised when I discovered that their cosmetics are available in many countries because I thought it was a small local Polish company, hehe since I have never heard of them before. They could at least think a little about popularizing their products in social medias, then they would certainly reach to a larger group of recipients and perhaps have more financial resources for development.

The prices of individual cosmetics range from £4.97 to £16.99 , so they are really affordable but also you can find them very often on promotion -30%, -40% and sometimes even more, then they are really cheap. So far, I had the opportunity to try niacinamide which I liked, so I truly wanted more: D. During checking randomly what's up in drugstores, I came across promotions -50%, so in this way, I have in my hands two new products about which more details are in today's post 😃.

Eye cream is a not necessary cosmetic for many people, but personally I can't imagine my skin care routine without it. On Rose Water Avocado Oil Eye Care I was tempted because of the price point £2.30 (regular price £6) for 30 ml and because on the drugstore's website had only positive reviews. It has the formula of a light cream on an oil base, so much better is to apply it sparingly, when we used too much will absorb much slower and then it will not look good as a day cream. If you apply the right amount, it works well with the make-up cosmetics, the concealer doesn't crack, it does not adversely affect its durability and the under the eyes area looks smooth and healthy. As a night cream, it may not be heavy enough for many people, I also prefers richer textures, so I use it interchangeably with others, but it seems to me that it will be an ideal formula for younger people. When it comes to how is works, will not phenomenonly smooth out all wrinkles etc., however, you can feel more hydration and firm under the eyes. Is it a must have? Definitely not, but I'm happy with it. Doesn't irritate, doesn't dry out, it has a convenient pump package, is inexpensive and suitable under the makeup, so is definitely worth give it a go, especially if you are young and are looking for your first cream or just want to keep this area in good condition.

Another cosmetic that I chose was the Peptides 10% serum. Which I bought for £3.60 (regular price £10.99) for 30 ml and is designed to restore skin firmness, smooth wrinkles and start collagen production. It is closed in a dark glass bottle with a pipette, thanks to which the application is convenient and hygienic. The consistency is slightly gel-like, so typical for a serum, it does not stand out with anything special. As for the results, they were not diametric in my case. I only noticed a delicate effect of filling and smoothing, however the product is dedicated to mature skin, so it's possible that if someone has a lot of wrinkles would have a more visible difference. I am 31 years old and I use this type of products more preventively and as an additive to the skin care routine, not for counting on some specific effect. This serum can't be absolutely combined with vitamin C and you have to be careful about other acids, which for me was a huge disadvantage and I saw that after some time my skin begins to lack other ingredients. In general, the serum is ok but I would recommend it to mature skin much more to could enjoy its potential and benefits.
