Kiehl's Eye Treatment and Face Mask Review

Kiehls is one of those brands that I first time saw in social media and I really wanted to buy something one day. A lot of girls were delighted with their skin care and the results they given. Last year I tested their Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate but I still was not quite sure what to think about the brand Kiehl's, so I bought two more cosmetics on sale. What is my opinion about their skin care, are these products worth the price?

As a owner of quite problematic skin, I have to admit that very often positive reviews / comments on skin care act like a bait on me and I always later think in the back of my head ,,maybe is something perfect for me''. This is how I discovered Kiehl's which let's be honest is not a cheap brand, is not at the same price level as Lancome's skin care but is also not a amount that I easily spend.

This is probably one of such iconic products of the brand about which some time ago everyone was raving about on social media. I've been thinking about buying this cream for a long time but I wasn't sure if it will be something for me, that's why I decided to buy a smaller packaging first. Costs £ 26 for 14ml or you can buy a larger capacity of 30ml for £ 37. Theoretically, a large package is more profitable but is not a cheap, so I recommend to first check out if it will meet your needs and expectations.
It has the consistency of a rich cream that theoretically always worked well but this one is a bit troublesome for me to apply. I have the impression that not smeared under the eye like a butter but is so blunt. It's hard to explain because is definitely not a matt product but when you want apply it behaves like that. The packaging in the form of a jar where you have to put your fingers is also not my favorite and thanks to which the cream is definitely less efficient.
Scent free and good ingredients it's undoubtedly the advantages, but here his benefits ends. As for the results it gives, I have been using it since March and I have not noticed any spectacular moisturizing or filling my fine lines / wrinkles under the eyes. The skin is not dry, is in good condition but is not the effect that no other cream would give me. For the price I was expecting something more.

Cilantro And Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask

This is a mask that we leave for the night, so in theory something that I like very much, but unfortunately in this form it doesn't work for me at all. Has a very characteristic earthy scent which reminds me of a  basement smell so it is nothing that will soothe your senses and give you a pleasant experience.
It's available in two capacities £17 for 28ml and £34 for 75ml  and I am very happy that I decided to buy this smaller one. Has a gel-creamy texture that comfortably and easily applies without making the mess but not soaking into the skin too quickly. Immediately after application we have such a sticky, lightly greenish skin but after wake up the whole face is uncomfortably oily. 
I can't stand feeling of such a greasy skin, it's disgusting to me and totally doesn't encourage me to use cosmetic like that again. And also when I applying this mask for the night, unfortunately irritates my skin, is terribly red and like burned. It seems to me that included acids are too strong, so is certainly not a mask suitable for all skin types.
My way to use it is during the bath. After such a 25 minute treatment I see small results but is of course nothing spectacular. I am disappointed that it doesn't work for me because had a lot of positive reviews on the store, but my skin turned out to be too sensitive and likes only some more gentle acids. If you have a similar skin type, I do not recommend Kiehl's Cilantro and orange extract pollutant defending mask or if you really want to try it, grab at first a smaller packaging.

Big shame that both of these cosmetics will not be included permanently into my skin care routine. As you can see, brand Kiehl's is definitely not as good as other influencers advertise it. I think I'll take a break in testing new Kiehl's cosmetics and try some other brands, maybe I will find more of what I'm looking for.
