Some time ago I tested Mineral primer from Elf and really made a good impression on me, that's why I want to look a little closer to this brand. I had a great opportunity to add something to buy 3 for 2 thanks to which today I have a new review as the post title indicates of the HD Lifting corrector.

I am definitely a more lover of drugstore cosmetics, which really improved their quality and choice over the last few years. That's why I was very surprised by the fact that somehow I always skipped Elf despite of the good opinions about their products.

Costs £4 for 6.5 ml, so considering the capacity to the price is not the cheapest drugstore option. Has a light, liquid consistency, which quite a lot you have to use for one application, so I suspect that it will not last for a long time. Applicator in the form of a wand quickly and easily takes out the product.
What immediately grab my attention is the fact that is available only in 3 shades - fair, light and medium, so a little poorly and definitely not everyone will find perfect for themselves. Shade which I chose - fair was theoretically the brightest one from the range but definitely is not light and unfortunately I noticed that oxidize. It can works only for people with darker complexion or tan, that's why at the beginning was difficult for me to test it out. As a I recently mentioned, we went with my fiance to Crete where I got a beautiful summer tan, thanks to which finally this shade is suitable for me.

I tested this concealer the same like the others in a few different ways: as a eyeshadow base, an under-eye concealer and a face concealer.
When it comes to first purpose is ok although my old favorite Collection Lasting Perfection is much better. Elf hd has light to medium-light coverage depending on whether you apply by a sponge or brush. Eyeshadows last perfectly around 8 or 9 hours but on the eyelid see through veins etc., whole this area to the eyebrow is not even. Under the eyes, unfortunately it does not suit me at all because despite the light formula seems soo heavy and doesn't look good.

I have small and shallow lines / wrinkles mainly caused by the why how the eyes are situated, not by the age but it start collect in them immediately after application and even more emphasizing them. This is certainly not the effect that any of us want to, so definitely skip e.l.f. HD Lifting Concealer if you are looking for good under eyes concealer.
According to me, his best purpose is to use as a concealer to the face, on smaller reddening or imperfections. It doesn't have a big coverage, that's why will not handle with any serious problems, it only unifies the color or will be a great as a base under foundation. Is not cakey, doesn't separate even after many hours, works really well with every kind of foundation. Will I buy it again? Honestly I don't think so, because I prefer more universal concealers that will work well in each of these functions and especially under the eyes. Definitely for this purpose I using concealer the most often and I appreciate when this areas looks fresh and good..
