Drugstore Face Spf Review
Currently we still have a summer, so the topic of Spf is the most up to date. In connection with this, I have today reviews of the drugstore option, maybe one of you was thinking about buying this product, you are before holiday and it will be useful for you.
Unfortunately, we often don't realize how important is to using a sun protection. We apply it rarely, usually only in the summer, if we are reminded of when we are already burnt by the sun but UV radiation affects on us every day no matter what season we have. I honestly admit that I also made this mistake in the past and it seems to me that everything depends on what habits we learn from our carers / parents. My mother doesn't use any spf on her face, she never demanded it from us and as a child we applied the same tanning spf oil to all parts of the body. My mom always bought such greasy, oily consistencies, which is probably why applying face protection doesn't associated with anything pleasant for me. Everything changed a few years ago when I became more into makeup and it became my hobby. I am not the type of person who would spend lot of money on SPF, I am rather looking for budget options, which is why I decided to buy Nivea Sun Uv Face Suncream SPF 30 Q10 Anti-Age & Anti-Pigments on this year.
Costs £6 for 50 ml and online had many positive reviews, the more I was tempted to buy this. Has quite a thick, creamy consistency, which unfortunately doesn't absorb so quickly and leaves a slightly luminous coating on the skin, therefore it will not be suitable as a everyday face spf for oily and combination skin with oily T zone. Applied under makeup only works on days when don't have to last for many hours because around after 5, 6 hours makes the foundation a lot more shiny into T zone and looks less aesthetically. I prefer to use it on the days when I don't wear makeup.
Has the smell of a typical sunscreen what doesn't bother me and after some time is no longer noticeable to me. When it comes to solar protection it works really great. On this year we were with my fiancé in Crete where it was really hot and my face was not sunburned at all, the skin didn't come off etc. I live in England where summer is not so sunny and I works on night shifts, so I belong to the group of very pale people and I can say that did great job when it comes to protecting my fair complexion. The manufacturer promises ,,prevention the appearance of sun induced fine lines, wrinkles and pigment spots'' but I will not agree because I was creaming all the time, I really cared about this and still some new discoloration on my forehead and nose appeared. As for my general impressions, this is not bad face spf but I am looking for something else. I love to wear makeup that's why I prefer some more multi-functional products. I haven't found my perfect facial spf protection yet, but I will keep looking.
Do you have any favorite drugstore face spf?🌞
Do you always remember about this skin care step?
