Beauty Bay New Liquid Crystal Eyeshadows Review & Swatches

Rather, I don't belong to the fans of liquid eyeshadows, good quality metallic are enough for me but new Liquid Crystal from Beauty Bay intrigued me so much that I bought not one but two shades.

Beauty Bay releases recently a lot of interesting cosmetics, which keep up with trends and making a interesting collaborations. Their newest babies are Liquid Crystal Eyeshadows which were quickly called as a replacements for popular Stilla Magnificent Metals.

Until now I had no need to buy this type of shining beauties but I found that since they are quite affordable I will give them a chance and get out of my comfort zone a little bit. They cost £6 for 4.5 ml, so don't contain that much in the packaging but probably also hardly anyone uses such brocades on a daily basis.

Currently, they are available in 6 shades - Opal, Peach Quartz, Fluorite, Moonstone, Rutile, Precious Topaz and a set of 3 pieces for £15. Definitely such a trio is much more profitable but when I was shopping the variant containing shade Fluorite was sold out and I was the most interested in this particularly one.

Pigmentation
I have the impression that everything depends on the shade because they have a completely different formulas. Moonstone is much more glittery and in itself doesn't have such a color, but Fluorite is a simply liquid duochrome that you don't even need to layers it's so pigmented.

Application
They have an applicator in the form of a wand which applied product quickly and easily. If you want to get a less glitter effect (Moonstone) then you can spread it by a flat synthetic brush. You do not need to use any glue / primer and you should absolutely not use them if you have previously applied eyeshadow on wet because it will not stick to the eyelid, will create patches or clumped up. I hope you understand what I mean, I did it once on the wet metallic and I regretted later very much: D

Lasting
They look great all day, don't crack or anything bad happens to them.

Usefulness
For many people it will not be a product for everyday use, although you can use them, for example only to highlight the inner corners of the eyes or of course on the entire eyelid for full glamor: d. However with frequent use they are certainly not be last for long because, unfortunately they have only 4.5 ml

This is a really cool way to change your "boring" classic make-up into something stunning for everyone. They are easy and quick to apply, compared to the other liquid eyeshadows they are not that expensive and they have a handy plastic packaging with a nice design that doesn't take much space and can be taken with you everywhere. I hope that they will expand their offer with more such crazy, unique duochromes because I definitely like this effect the most and I will be happy to buy more.
