Movie Recommendations

 

May long weekend is just on the corner, so if you don't have any plans, you want to spend some moments at home, chillout, I have some movie recommendations for you today, which will surely make this time more pleasant.

Unfortunately, I don't have as many recommendations as I would like, but since February I have been waiting for the Internet to be connected to my home: /, which makes it not possible to have online cinema. Maybe next time will be more. 

Miracle in Cell No. 7

is a 2019 Turkish drama film directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin. It is an official adaptation of the 2013 South Korean comedy-drama film Miracle in Cell No. 7 using the same premise, but with significant changes in story, characters, and tone. It was selected as the Turkish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

Mirage - Durante La Tormenta

Mirage (Spanish: Durante la tormenta) is a 2018 mystery-drama film co-written and directed by Oriol Paulo and starring Adriana Ugarte. The movie was released in Spain in 2018 and worldwide, through Netflix, on March 22, 2019.

Split

Split is a 2016 American psychological horror thriller film and the second installment in the Unbreakable trilogy written, directed, and produced by M. Night Shyamalan and starring James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Betty Buckley. The film follows a man with 24 different personalities who kidnaps and imprisons three teenage girls in an isolated underground facility.

Bajo Cero - Below Zero

Below Zero (Spanish: Bajocero) is a 2021 Spanish action film directed by Lluís Quílez, written by Fernando Navarro and Lluís Quílez and starring Javier Gutiérrez, Karra Elejalde, Luis Callejo and Patrick Criado. The title sequence shows a man in the dark woods torturing another man for information, and burying him alive when he claims not to know the location of the missing body. Netflix reported that the movie had been viewed by 46 million accounts on its first month on the service

Big Mike .The Blind Side

The Blind Side is a 2009 American biographical sports drama film written and directed by John Lee Hancock. Based on the 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis,the film tells the story of Michael Oher, an American football offensive lineman who overcame an impoverished upbringing to play in the National Football League (NFL) with the help of his adoptive parents Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy. It stars Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy, Tim McGraw as Sean Tuohy, and Quinton Aaron as Oher.

Voces. Don’t Listen

Daniel and Sara have a 9-year-old son, Eric, and they've just moved to a new home not knowing the neighbours call it "the house of the voices". Eric is the first one to notice the odd noises behind each door. It stars Rodolfo Sancho, Ana Fernández, Ramón Barea and was filmed in 2020.
