Natural Eye Cream / Balm Better Than Any Other?

Dr. Hauschka Eye Balm Review

2021 will be definitely a year more focused on skincare reviews and I hope that is not a problem for you.
Today we will talk about a brand whose reviews have not yet appeared on my blog, namely Dr. Hauschka, which was by the way my goal to try last year.

Dr. Hauschka ,,began exclusively as a developer of natural medicines in 1935. In the early days of its history, the company was considered avant-garde and—pioneering. Anthroposophic doctors were one of the primary groups to enthusiastically seize upon Rudolf Hauschka’s procedure for producing natural medicines without using alcohol as a preservative. The demand for his preparations encouraged Dr. Hauschka to establish his company in 1935 and open subsidiaries in Vienna and London shortly thereafter. Following a ban by the Nazi Party and the imprisonment of Dr. Hauschka and his future wife Dr. Margarethe Stavenhagen, the company was relocated several times before finally settling in Bad Boll/Eckwälden in 1950, where its offices, gardens and farms remain today.''

Dr. Hauschka skin care

eye balm review

Their offer includes facial care, makeup and body care which I would say are more based on traditional formulas, 100% natural ingredients and "standard" needs. It is not a brand that follows trends, engages influencers in advertising, are super active on social media and attracts our attention by packaging design, which of course can be both a plus and a disadvantage. The Eye Balm about which is today's review cost around £30 for 10ml and you can get it in stores such as Amazon, Beauty Bay or Sephora. The price may be quite high but also it is not a drugstore brand and they don't release new products in mass, so it was to be expected.
The Eye Balm has a formula of compact oil-butter, which is unfortunately a bit troublesome in application and has glycerin fragrance. It's hard to calculate the perfect amount because it always seems to me that nothing has been picked up and then the whole area under the eyes is really greasy hehe. In addition, it takes more time to apply because you have to run your finger several times over the top if you understand what I mean. The best is to store it in a fairly warm room because when it melts a bit the entire application process is much faster and more pleasant. As I mentioned earlier, you doesn't need much, so it will be last for a long time. When it comes to effects, nicly moisturize, the skin is soft and smooth but I didn't notice any effect on wrinkles, shadows etc. It doesn't absorb quickly, so definitely if you wear makeup, it will be suitable only for the night, unfortunately no concealer will look good because of this buttery consistency. Even if you don't wear makeup, such a greasy look under the eyes never look good hehe, so it is not a formula for everyone. Do I think it's worth buying? It is undoubtedly a good cream, but rather for the less demanding or people who appreciate full natural cosmetics and it is the most important factor for them when shopping. Personally, the effect is more important to me, if my skin reacts well to a given product, I don't care that much what have inside. I will definitely stick to my beloved cheaper Nourishing Avocado Eye Cream.

Dr. Hauschka ingredients

From Producer

Dr. Hauschka Eye Balm provides effective and intensive care for the skin around the eyes, protecting it against external influences. When warmed between your fingertips, the solid, fragrant balm turns silky smooth. The beeswax contained in the formulation ensures precise application.
As Dr. Hauschka Eye Balm is so rich, it can be used very sparingly. You can also apply the Eye Balm to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and to provide extra protection in cold weather.
