Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel
Today's post will be about an unusual cosmetic, namely the brush cleansing gel. I hope that I don't need to remind anyone that regular cleaning of the brushes is very important so that no harmful bacteria spawn on them.
There are many ways to clean brushes and many products on the market. I received the cleansing gel from Real Techniques free of charge when I buying two products of this brand, so I have the opportunity to review it for you. It costs £6.99 for 150 ml and is available in many online and stationary drugstores.
It has a nut that opens by the pressing which I'm not a biggest fan. In my opinion, it would be easier to apply it by a standard dispenser or pump.
In the case of this mechanism very often get out too much of the cosmetic😩. Has a very pleasant even luxurious fragrance and doesn't contain alcohol or phthalates thanks to which it's safe for bristles.
As for the washing itself, I have to admit that the brushes are cleaned thoroughly, but only when we pour out a little of preparation every time. I tried to clean by the foam left from this liquid, but this method doesn't work well which means that it will be very inefficient. If you have a large amount of brushes or you work professionally in a visage it's definitely not a product for you because such a bottle is enough for only a month or two.
However, if you find such an offer as me it is worth buying, for example two sponges whose value will be equal with the gel we get for free. The cleansing gel certainly fulfills its task leaving clean and soft brushes ! It doesn't affect negatively on the quality of the bristles, doesn't dry out, doesn't cause them to become rough etc.
To summarize, if I had to spend by myself on it £6.99 I would rather prefer a cheaper alternative but the product itself fulfills the manufacturer's promises and I am satisfied using it.
And what is your brush cleaning method?
Have you ever used this product?
