Brands That I Would Like to Try Update + Introduction To 2020

Last year, I shared with you what cosmetics I hunt for, what tempts me to buy and in particular which brands I would like to try on my own skin. It's been exactly a year since that post appeared, so it's time to sum up how it went, whether the opportunity arose and whether I set any goals for 2020.

Unfortunately they didn't release anything interesting, that's why my curiosity quickly gone and even in the second half of the year I didn't check if they had any good deals etc. It is a pity that they stood in one place and they can't get up.

Bperfect

Somehow I finally managed to try the quality of their eyeshadows in the absolute end of 2019, because I just got a Carnival XL as a gift. I am very happy because it's an amazing palette, for which I reaching all the time. Wonderful quality, colors story and I will gladly look at Bperfect's next releases.

In this case, unfortunately I also failed mainly because my skin is currently in really great condition. I am impressed that I finally found the perfect products for myself, so I had no need to add anything else and didn't even want to risk losing this results. I don't say no to Dermalogica products, I will gladly buy something in the future but without pressure.

Elf

My adventure with Elf began with total success, their primer even became my favorite of the year, so I'm very glad that I decided to buy it. In later months I had an concealer that was average but also not tragic, so I didn't change my mind about the brand. I think this is a cool brand that has a lot of good cosmetics to offer and it's worth giving them a chance.

Jouer

I admired their cheeks duos for a long time and finally pulled the trigger and bought the Bouquet Rose Gold version. I really like it, is well pigmented, long-lasting and has an elegant-looking packaging. Maybe I didn't use it as often as I would like to, but only because on everyday basic I focused more on the older ones from my collection and cheaper blushes. I still have an eye on their concealer, bronzers and lipsticks but we will see which part of me will win the more sensible or cosmetics lover.  

Unfortunately, I still haven't managed to test anything from them. Caught my attention during the 2019 only the Friendcation palette however, her price was too high. Maybe this year they will have some more interesting collections and collaborations.

There were two brands that I wanted to try in 2018 but I managed finally on this year.

Natasha Denona 

However, I didn't need to win the lottery to allow myself to buy anything from Natasha Denona hehe. I thought eyeshadow palettes were out of my reach but I got Sunrise and Face Tan palette as a gift for Valentine's Day and I also managed to purchase a Mini Bronze and Glow which I love. I feel that I am opened a pandora box because her cosmetics are simply attracting me like a magnet. I loved the highlighter from this mini duo so much that I consider purchase a single or a mini duo with blush. So far, I haven't used two of my new palettes. I will share my opinion about them when I finally will be have a time to play with them. We will see what this year will bring, maybe expand my collection with another Natasha's product because so far I am delighted and intrigued.

Too Faced

From all of this brands in today's list, Too Faced disappointed my the most. I expected their products to blow me away, that maybe I would gain new favorites or Holy Grails and unfortunately it didn't happened. I had the opportunity to use the Sweet Peach palette and also powder and they were not a bad cosmetics but they didn't make such an huge impression on me either. It seems to me that you can find much cheaper products of similar quality. Maybe just their powder cosmetics didn't convince me and I will fall in love with creams, so I am not crossing them out for now and I will gladly buy a foundation or concealer. Let me know what do you think about Too Faced, do you have any favorites from their range?

I am really surprised that I was able to tried half of them + extra 2 from 2018 and that I didn't find an absolute flap. Most of this things I truly liked. As for this year, I don't have many new brands that I would like to discover except: Dr Hauschka, Revolution Skin Care, Fenty and Melt. However, I will gladly take a closer look at range from Nars, Urban Decay and Jeffree Star Cosmetics. We will see if there will be an opportunity for this because I don't have any pressure to buy a new makeup, I currently have a satisfying collection but certainly will not refuse a little spoilage.
