A Cheap Alternative For High-End Illuminating Powders?!

Revolution Pro Skin Finish

I really like Revolution as a brand but surprisingly this is the first powder I have tried from them. Probably to be honest I would not pay attention if not a opinions that this is a dupe for Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder which I planned to buy. It only costs a fraction of its price, which is why I decided to find out if it's really so good.

These mesmerising domed baked highlighting powders are formulated with ultra-fine shimmer that infuses skin with radiance. In six stunning shades, they can be dusted onto the high points of the face and body or used all over for a lit-from-within effect.
For a diffused finish, apply with a fluffy powder brush or fan brush. To create a foil-like effect, apply with a wet brush or mix with Revolution PRO Mixing Liquid.

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

✅Gives a beautiful glowy effect

✅Efficient

✅Pretty solid packaging for Revolution

✅Gives the effect of an expensive product

✅The skin looks healthy and more rested

✅Looks nice on the whole face or only in selected places where the skin is in better condition or what we want to highlight up

✅⛔Available in a few shades but I'm not sure that they will matching to all different undertones and preferences
✅⛔Of course, it may emphasize acne, dry skin or pores but this is normal with this type of cosmetic

⛔Will not be suitable for all skin types

⛔On some foundations can looks cakey

This is not of course a must-have for every day make-up but more as a extra step. It doesn't bother me at all because it costs only £ 5, so it's not an investment that I will be wanted to use regular / daily. Of course, if someone wants then absolutely can but in real life honestly
 no one have a time for such things, but rather for some bigger events, dates, etc. This is not a product that will give you the effect of wet, glass skin <such finish can be achieved only by liquid cosmetics>, but more like a less visible, not condensed highlighter if you know what I mean, which will gently reflect the light. Personally I like this effect very much, so I can truly recommend this powder, especially if you like Hourglass Ambient Lighting, Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder or MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural because potentially it can be a cheaper dupe.
