Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette Review & Swatches

I thought that this moment would never come, that I wouldn't be able to review Natasha's palette and here she is, my new baby Sunrise. Is it really worth the price tag and is the formula different from much more budget options? You will find out in this post.

Natasha Denona has in her range at the moment seven  different formats of palettes whose prices range from £41 to £205. Unfortunately, this is a very expensive brand , so I realize that for most of you this palette discussed today is too expensive. Sunrise costs £60 for 19.25 g and includes 7 velvety mattes, 3 duo-chromes and 5 sparkling metallic.

The packaging is something like a metal can thanks to which is solid and travel friendly. It also has a large mirror if you like to do your makeup in the front of the palette. As for me, the whole design is really charming and definitely doesn't look cheap. If you are wondering why your pans moving gently when they are swatched or using, then they are simply designed to be able to remove according to your own preferences that's why also there are tiny holes on the back side.

Pigmentation
All shadows are mega pigmented, even the brighter mattes can be seen on the eyelids, you don't need to build them at all, just a dream!

Application
When it comes to metallics, then surprisingly not applied well on wet, definitely better by a finger or a dry brush with natural bristles. They don't stick so well to the synthetic ones, what really shocked me. If they are applied in this way, they look really beautiful and elegant, no lumps are formed, they don't gather in the eyelid crease, etc. Mattes are so pleasant at work and easy that even a completely beginner will make lovely look, like they were blending by themselves. They don't require any pro brushes, the purples don't stain and everything is so effortless. This is probably the best formula I have ever came across.

Usefulness
If you are fans of warm purple-honey shades then this will be the perfect palette for you. I just love such colors, the more I am happy that it was Sunrise that I got as a gift and not any other. You can definitely create both suitable for work/school makeup and more glamour or evening. Thanks to the fact that even the brightest shades such as Morning show easily on the eyelids, there are really many possibilities.

To sum up, I am really happy with this palette and I think it has a wonderful formula. Is it worth spending £60? If you have a budget, you love make-up then of course yes but if you will be have to save many months to be able to buy it, you have no problem with cheaper eyeshadows or you mainly create makeups for Instagram purposes and you need to have many color options, then I think you won't need this palette. It is quite a big investment but we also get high quality. I would love to buy one more Natasha palette in this format with more cool tones, but we'll see if this will happened, maybe again I'll get as a gift: D.
