Random Reviews / Garnier, Mario Badescu, CeraVe

Random Skin Care Reviews
Random Skin Care Reviews

I had a few cosmetics that I bought a long time ago, I tested them well and wanted to do reviews but I didn't have anything more from these brands, that's why today I have a kind of mish mash. I hope that you will like this concept too.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Combination & Sensitive Skin
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Combination

I really like the pink version of their micellar water but this one was on sale, so of course I decided why not. Costs £4.99 for 400 ml. When it comes to cleansing I have no objections, the skin after using is really clean and refreshed, but I hate this smell and the fact that along with rubbing creates a foam. During the application you don't feel it at all, but after a while it reminds me of the smell of moldy bread or basement which is not pleasant😣. It doesn't leave a greasy film, doesn't irritate, doesn't overdry but I will not buy it again because of this disgusting scent.

Mario Badescu Olive Eye Cream

Mario Badescu Olive Eye Cream

I bought this cream after I was disappointed with Olay Gel Night Eye Cream in the hope that it will be my new few but this is another fail😥. Recently I have some bad luck with eye creams. Costs £18.50 for 14g so it's in the price point of Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado. Has a consistency reminiscent of vaseline or lard hehe so it is definitely only suitable as a night cream. There is no color, no scent and the packaging is such a standard plastic jar. When it comes to how is working then the skin is much better moisturized,  soft but unfortunately has something in the composition that causes that whenever I use it on the next day my eyes hurt. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, I just didn't get enough sleep, I have to use eye drops etc. however when I change the cream everything immediately backs to normal. This is not a very intense pain, conjunctivas are not red, irritated, etc. but just comparable discomfort to when we have too dry eyes. I think it may not be the fault of the cosmetic but the reaction of my body to some ingredient because on the Beauty Bay page had a only positive feedback. I will definitely not buy it again and used it up in some other way because I prefer not to risk.

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser

To try this brand convinced me a skin care channel Hyram on youtube who probably knows everything about skin care and often recommends their products. Costs £9.50 for 236 ml and you can get it easily online or stationary also in different capacities. In my opinion this is a hybrid between gel and milk that doesn't foam, has no smell but a slightly whitish color. What is cool about it after use gives a feeling of moisturizing /such a silky film, doesn't overdry, doesn't irritate or gives the feeling of pulling like many other face gels. Unfortunately, for me it doesn't clean deep enough, which is why I use it only in the morning and mainly to used up this bottle not because of my sympathy. I tried to use it in combination with the sonic brush but after a while is too dry in consistency and you have the feeling of massaging the face by a dry brush, even the same situation happens with using it solo, like it will be absorbed after a while. If you like wearing makeup, you appreciate more cleansing products then you will definitely be disappointed like I am.

I hope that the next random reviews will be more positive because I think this post will start a kind of series in which I will discuss about random cosmetics, skin care or tools.
Let me know if you like this concept or are you prefer posts dedicated to a specific brand ?!
And of course, do you agree with my opinion about the products discussed today or are they maybe yours favorites, I am really curious.
