Fruity collections are now very popular, of course due to the season and the aesthetic aspect, they are just so cute that you want to buy something: d. A few months ago I Heart Revolution released a series of cosmetics inspired by food: avocado, coffee, pizza, hot chili pepper, hot dog, banana, apple, strawberry and peach- on which review I cordially invite you today.

The original idea of peach cosmetics was probably from what I think Too Faced and of course after their huge success other brands such as Revolution started to release their own fruity makeup. The entire peach collection from I Heart Revolution contains : blush £4, lip oil £5, eyeshadow palette £10, primer £6, liquid lipstick £5, baking powder £5, mascara £5, highlighter £6, mattifying priming spray £6, mini eyeshadow palette £6 and cheek palette £6 but I definitely didn't need everything so I limited myself to two things :)

It was the first cosmetic from this collection that caught my eyes and I had to have it. Costs £5 for 6ml and of course it has orange plastic packaging in peach print. As you would expect, it also really appetizing smells like peaches and not in such a chemical, artificial way. If you don't like peaches then is also available in Avocado and more redish shade peach scented. You can use it both solo then gives the effect of natural shiny lips or on the top of the lipstick. Lasts until you eat or drink something. It doesn't affect badly on the lipstick formula, doesn't create any unsightly separation, white lines etc., just gives the simmilar glow like when you apply a lip gloss. Light and pleasant lip oil formula, which is not as sticky in consistency as you might think. After used lips are moisturized and healthy looking. As for me, a great cosmetic for reasonable price. Perfect to achive such a juicy, summery look.

Tasty Peach Mattifying Priming Spray

I love to use mattifying mists in the summer instead of over-powdered skin, and with my combination complexion if I want to have long-lasting make-up in the heat, it's a necessary step. Costs £6 for 100 ml, while I managed to get it for free with lip oil purchase. The packaging like the rest of the collection is of course kept in a peach style. It's plastic and transparent so we can control how much is left. The atomizer is from more of this aggressive ones, so I would advise you to mascara the eyelashes after hehe. Doesn't leave any white drops and after a while completely absorbed into the skin. I use it every day and haven't noticed any irritation, dryness etc. Has a peachy-talc scent definitely less pleasant than lip oil but it doesn't last long. When it comes to how is working then actually mattifying, the foundation shines in the T zone much later. Everything just looks so natural but still not too dry. However with very oily skin this effect may not be enough. I reach for it everyday and I am very happy, meets all my expectations. If you are looking for a mattifying but not overy spray, I can recommend this one.

Overall, to sum up my impressions about this collection, I am very pleased. At first I thought it is a bit of cash grab but in fact these cosmetics do what they supposed to do, they are of good quality and also looking cute. If I didn't have already so many highlighters from Revolution then I would probably purchase also this 3D peach one: D
