Barry M Toppers


This year I have significantly improved with the purchase of pressed eyeshadows and palettes, but I am obsessed with liquid products, which means that my collection doesn't decrease at all hehe. 
Therefore, today I come with another review 😂, this time of toppers that I had on my wishlist for around two years.

Barry M is a really affordable drugstore brand, their prices oscillate around Essence or Collection cosmetics. Despite the availability and tempting prices, as far as I am not mistaken this is my first contact and review of their cosmetics wow (I also ordered their make-up face jewelry). I've been keeping an eye on these toppers for a long time but I've been waiting for some good deals.

They costs £4.99 for 1.89 ml but I was able to buy 2 for the price of one on the Superdrug sale. Recently, they had an offer twice, buy 1 get 1 free, so if you have an eye on something and you are not in a hurry then I would advise you to wait and maybe spend less. They are available in four shades: Asteroid- Blue/Green, Supernova- Gold/Green, Star dust -Pink, Luna-Purple/Blue, they all looks pretty but I decided to bought two for now.

Pigmentation

Wow this is a real beauty that changes colors just like a disco ball. It has no pigment itself, so it's best to apply on the top of matte or shimmers shade, but even the name topper may suggest the method of application and formula.

Application

As I mentioned before, you should use it on the already prepared eyelid. It dries up after some time, but you don't need to hurry. You can, of course do use it straight from the packaging because has an wand applicator, brush or tap by your finger for a more subtle effect of simply sparkling eyelid. If we want a really spectacular, mega visible result, it can be built with additional layers. Their formula is so pleasant and simple that even a beginner can handle them perfectly.

Lasting

Thanks to the fact that they don't get stiff to such a dry crust during the day, they don't crack, don't gather in a crease and looks just fresh like second after aplication. If we touch the eyelid, a few particles will be transfer on the finger, but they don't fall of on the face during the day, which is a huge advantage over glitters.

Usefulness

It's a simple way to spiced up the average everyday make-up or change into a completely different look for example, if we don't have much time, we came back from work and we already have our make-up done but we have a plans for later: concert, date, event etc., this type of topper will be life saver. It can also be a cheaper and more accessible alternative to duochromes because it also gives such a mermaid effect. I am mega surprised how beautiful they looks.

Summing up my impressions about Barry M toppers, I am delighted! They look beautiful on the eyelid and do all the work. Superb quality, easy to use and a mermaid effect for £4.99 what more could you want ?! 
I wish I had bought them earlier.
