Zoeva Their New Powder Review

Before the Zoeva was recognizable mainly due to their high-quality brushes and quite accessible eyeshadow palettes with nice colors story. However, they have developed a lot recently and releasing an Authentik complexion line that includes their first foundation, concealer and powder. I was struggling what to buy for a long time, but I don't have a lot of powders in my collection, so this purchase made the most sense😎. Whether it turned out to be a hit or a miss, you will find out in this post.

My Opinion

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

✅Very finely ground

✅Elegant-looking packaging, easy and comfortable to use

✅You can't feel or see it on your face

✅Perfectly works for both under the eyes and the whole face

✅Blends beautifully into the skin

✅It doesn't look dry

✅Gets along great with all the foundations and concealers I've used

✅Zoeva is sold by the most online retailers so is easily accessible

✅Looks stunning under the eyes and even rejuvenates this area

✅Not perfumed

✅Doesn't irritate, doesn't clog pores or dry out

✅Will work for a wide audience, even people who don't like powdering their face may like it

✅⛔Six shades to choose from but not suitable for different undertones

✅⛔Doesn't have coverage which is a plus for me, but I know that many people prefer more pigmented powders to hide discoloration, redness, etc.

✅⛔Gives a delicate blur effect, although you can find powders that do it even better

✅⛔The manufacturer describes it as mattifying but it gives a more satin finish which suits me even more

⛔There are no swatches of shades on the Internet and those available in stores are super photoshopped and don't give a good overview

⛔The price £20.50 doesn't seem high compared to other powders, but it only contains 14g

⛔Doesn't significantly affect on the regulation of sebum and even the foundation which normally doesn't need to be powdered, after using Zoeva Authentik looks more dewy at the end of the day.

As for my impressions, I am mega surprised by this formula because in many aspects the description of the manufacturer is not right. They should definitely not advertise it as mattifying but more as giving such a sheer finish to healthy moisturized skin, which is truly very trendy now. That's why they shot themselves in the knee potentially not hitting the right target group, especially since the rest of the Authentik line is described as illuminating and moisturizing hmm. For who will be this powder suitable?

For everyone who wants to get the effect of fresh, radiant skin and a natural-looking make-up that supposed to emphasize our strengths and real beautify. While it is not maybe ideal for all skin types as a face powder, it is just designed for under the eyes. Beautifully set every concealer, the skin looks young, fresh and doesn't have the dry-powdery effect as with many others. Never before has my skin under eyes looked so smooth with any powder! I am so glad that I bought it and I will definitely purchase it again. Feels like this is a formula they've been working on for a long time. Now I'm very curious about the Authentik foundation if it would be equally good: D.
