It's one of the most popular and most bestselling brands, which each new launch is always widely commented in the beauty community. I waited a long time to buy Rihanna's cosmetics but of course my inner makeup lover won and I had to buy something. Whether the Fenty cosmetics turned out to be a hit or miss, we will answer this question today!

Fenty was founded in September 8th 2017 which is hard to believe, considering how wide their assortment is now. Huge popularity and favorable reviews brought them their first foundation Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear, which they released in 50 shades, which at that time was a big achievement.

We can say that they proved to other brands that it is possible to do this pro and initiated some kind of movement - make-up for everyone. Now, brands are very often criticized for poor color ranges or the lack of enough shades for black people, which was previously rather ignored and treated as not a big deal. It's wonderful that Fenty has brought innovation products to the market but also forever set new rules and make-up equality. The prices of Fenty as a Sephora's brand and the icon behind it as big as Rihanna, I would say that is not as expensive as it could be. I was wondering what to decide on for a long time, because I was tempted by the foundation, lipsticks, lip glosses and bronzer, but in the end I decided that the best inintroduction to their quality and the general opinion building will give me some set;). So I purchased Bomb Baby Mini Lip And Face Set which costs in the regular price £22 but I managed to get it for £14.50, which makes me very happy. I have heard a lot of good things about Fenty lip glosses, so I was very curious about their formula. Full-size packaging 9ml costs £17 and is available currently in 6 shades, mine is Fenty Glow 5.5ml. It is not a colorless gloss, but also will not give an even pigmented shade, such as tint. Works well with any type of lipstick, finishes or brand etc. The packaging looks quite elegant, has the shape of a hexagon with a rose gold cap. Is feminine and fashionable. The applicator is a large wand that is easy to apply, but it is a lip gloss, so also no one requires precision and control :). Formula is quite thick and creamy so you don't need much. Is not sticky, crease or form a white line from the inside of the mouth. I admit that I have heard so many oh ahh about this formula but for me it's nothing so innovative. Stays on the lips for about 2 hours, but can't survive any drinking, eating or kissing :). Standard lip glosses are not long-lasting products, so it was to be expected. To sum up, it's a good quality lip gloss that I really like to reach for but I am not convinced if it is enough to justify to spend £17. Currently available lip glosses in the drugstore are often not those sticky relics from the past, so I'm not convinced. I bought the dupe of this lip gloss from Revolution and let you know if there are any similarities or just marketing.

Lip glosses are definitely a more popular Fenty product than highlighters, but their formula is still widely talked about in the beauty industry. In the regular price cost £28 for 12 g but 2.2 g will be enough for me for a long time. The packaging looks very trendy and exclusive, under the light it shimmers with pink glitter particles. This is the first time I see such a design. It's in the shape of a hexagon and has a mini mirror inside. Available in twelve color variants, but I have Hastle Baby. Is a gold-champagne shade that is much more suitable for a tanned, swarthy complexion. On pale skin like me cuts off too much and does not look too natural, but you can use it also as an eyeshadow. As an eyeshadow last really well, doesn't gather on the crease but at the end of the day you can see fallout glitter on your face. Just combine it with some warmer bronze and we have a recipe for a great makeup. Has mini particles, thanks to which it nicely reflects the light also on the body. When it comes to the effect on the cheeks, it is a visible glow, far from a gentle highlighter. It looks like sun-kissed skin, especially in summer will be a perfect shade. Applied with a less compact brush, blends lovely into the skin and giving it such an expensive look. The formula is really good, but is worth going to the drugstore and choose the perfect shade for you if only there is such a possibility, because I think that a significant part of them is dedicated to more darker complexions.
