Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation
Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation opinion

Probably the most iconic and popular product of the Revolution brand - the Conceal & Define concealer finally has colleague from the same line a foundation. Of course without even thinking as soon as appeared at Superdrug I bought to try this out.

My Opinion

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

Good price £9.00
Availability
Color range - 23 shades
Full coverage
Gives a pleasant matt finish which I don't even have to powder
It doesn't oxidize
Is not cakey
Looking elegant rose gold packaging
After 8h starts to gently wipe off from chin which is a good result for me

It looks very pretty on a strongly moisturizing primer / cream

Visible, gives the "mask" effect at a larger amount
I have the impression that gently emphasizes the uneven texture of the skin
Without primer looks dry and heavy on the skin
Enters into wrinkles and pores
The applicator in the form of a wand is very uncomfortable in the application and draw not enough amount of product that's why everything takes more time

Summary :  4.5 / 6

Honestly speaking, I don't like the matte foundation but this one was not so bad. Currently, there are not too much such well-covering and holding mats for many hours in the drugstores, so is a good alternative for high end foundations. Much nicer also looks when we use first a oil or moisturizing primer then the effect is much more flawless and fresh. Definitely this foundation will find lot of fans, as so-far it's the most coverage matt foundation from the drugstore that I had.

  1. I love how you put the plus and negatives for your reviews. I totally agree with you in regards to using a primer. I tried this foundation without primer and it looked OK,but with primer it was great. So glad I've signed up to your blog. Looking forward to reading your honest reviews.
