Too Faced Born This Way Loose Setting Powder Review

Too Faced Born This Way Loose Setting Powder Review
Too Faced Born This Way review

Too Faced was on my radar for a very long time but somehow I never bought anything because I cauldn't decide what hehe. So I made an inventory of my collection and it turned out that I only have two loose powders, so adding one more will not be a overwhelming.

Too Faced powder review

My Opinion

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

✅Finely ground
✅Not whitening the skin
✅Available in different capacity variants
✅Gives a delicate blur effect
✅Skin under the eyes doesn't look dry
✅Lightweight and comfortable to wear
✅It doesn't emphasize and comes into wrinkles
✅Available in 3 shades - Translucent, Translucent Medium, Translucent Deep
✅Works great with many foundations with different formulas
✅Odorless
✅With everyday use, it does not clog pores, irritated or dried out

Doesn't affect on sebum production / mattifying, but the manufacturer also doesn't promise that

Price - £20 for 17g or £12 for 1.5g
Inconvenient packaging
It's difficult to dispense the perfect amount through this type of packaging and in result a lot of powder is wasted

Summary : 5 / 6

Really nice setting powder but its packaging annoys me so much that I will not buy it again. As for its properties, consistency and such a general impression, it reminds me of Huda Beauty Bake Loose with that difference that doesn't give such a strong visible blur effect, doesn't have this artificial awful smell and is little bit cheaper. Rather, it is not a powder that will works well for oily skin or combination if you prefer more dewy finish foundations, but it is a great option if you are looking for something light to set the concealer under the eyes. If you don't mind such a strainer then it's really nice powder.

Have you used this powder or other cosmetics from the Born This Way line?
I thinking about buying a foundation but I don't know if it's worth this price point, let me know if you tried it :)

  12. I love to try different loose powders as I have very oily skin and this looks good but as you mentioned it may not work that well for oily skin so I will skip. :-)
