Sosu By Suzanne Jackson vs Real Techniques / Review

Sosu By Suzanne Jackson vs Real Techniques / Review
Sosu By Suzanne bleder opinion

Applying foundation, powder or concealer by a sponge is my and probably most of you also favorite way that quickly stole our hearts. Usually I bought a Real Techniques or Black Beauty Blender sponge but this time I came across something else that I would like to tell you about.

Of course, for reasons of hygiene and their durability, we have to replace our sponges regularly and I didn't experiment in this matter before, I had my 2 favorite sponges which worked great for me and I stick to them but I wanted something new this time. Real Techniques sponge was one of my favorites mainly because of the cut shape, but its huge disadvantage was durability. In comparison to the Black Beauty Blender, it was ripped 2 times faster, so I wanted to find a better alternative. Finding the Sosu sponge was like destiny hehe, when I was shopping on Beauty Bay, I found it on the sale section and it was a time when I really needed a new sponge, so I decided why not. I will be crazy and I will try something new😃😃.

cut shape sponge battle

Suzanne Jackson is award winning blogger turned businesswoman, is the brains behind one of Ireland’s leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogs SoSueMe.ie. She is also the founder and ceo of the bestselling beauty brand Sosu By Suzanne Jackson.
Somewhere I saw some reviews of their palettes, so I known this name before but that's it, so I didn't know what to expect😃. Costs £5 and is available in two shapes and only black color. When it comes to the material from which it is made, is something between Beauty Blender and Real Techniques, but is much more soft and bouncy. At first, it seemed to me that because of that it would be break up faster but nothing more wrong, I have the impression that is even more durable. I have been using this sponge for around two / three months, it was with me even on holiday and you can't see any signs of use.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge compare to Sosu By Suzanne Jackson pro blender

Applies foundation or concealer evenly, quickly and easily. The only thing I noticed is that absorbing a little more product than the other ones, which is definitely a drawback. After soaking it reaches roughly the same size as Real Techniques, I didn't notice any huge difference in this matter, however thanks to this soft material foundation applied by dry sponge also looks good, so it is a good sponge option for lazy people hehe. Another plus is the fact that is easier to clean out, the foundation does not stain as much as, for example on RT Miracle Complexion, which makes it aesthetically pleasing and fresh looking. If I had to choose between Real Techniques and Sosu, I prefer this new one because of its longer life and this wonderful softness, and I don't mind the reduced efficiency of the foundation so much but if this is your key factor then you will be more happy with RT Miracle Complexion sponge. I am very positively surprised by this Sosu sponge and I will definitely buy it again.

Do you prefer a cut off or normal sponge shape ?
Which ones are your favorites?
