Tv Shows Recommendations

Currently, we all spend a lot of time at home due to the self-isolation caused by the Covid virus, so today I have for you recommendation of great Tv shows that will certainly make your time more enjoyable.

This is the second post with recommendations of my favorite Tv shows, so if you want to see more, you wonder where all the iconic ones have gone or maybe you already know all of them, I encourage you to check the previous post ↦ Link

Peaky Blinders

Sensational music, costumes and acting. I can't say enough good, this is simply one of my favorite tv shows.❤

About: is a British period crime drama television series created by Steven Knight. Set in Birmingham, England, the series follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family in the direct aftermath of the First World War. The fictional family is loosely based on a real 19th century urban youth gang of the same name, who were active in the city from the 1890s to the early twentieth century. Peaky Blinders features an ensemble cast, with Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, and Paul Anderson starring as Tommy Shelby, Elizabeth "Polly" Gray, and Arthur Shelby respectively, the gang's senior members.

Chernobyl

A tragic story that unfortunately really happened. As for me, everyone should know her and this is a must have. The scenes can be a touching, shocking and sometimes disgusting too, so be prepared for that.

About: is a 2019 historical drama television miniseries produced by HBO and Sky UK. Created and written by Craig Mazin and directed by Johan Renck, the series revolves around the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of April 1986 and the cleanup efforts that followed.

Lost

This series was very popular a few years ago when it had premiere but I must admit that I started watching on this year. The story is quite confusing and long, so you must be patient to understand what is going on: D.

About: is an American drama television series that originally aired on ABC from September 22, 2004, to May 23, 2010, over six seasons, comprising a total of 121 episodes. The show contains elements of supernatural and science fiction, and follows the survivors of a commercial jet airliner flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, after the plane crashes on a mysterious island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. The story is told in a heavily serialized manner. Episodes typically feature a primary storyline set on the island, augmented by flashback or flashforward sequences which provide additional insight into the involved characters.

Suits

The story is pleasant, simple and maybe not always suited to the realities but still worth watching, especially that one of the characters is playing by already ex Duchess of the English Royal Family

About: is an American legal drama television series created and written by Aaron Korsh. The series premiered on USA Network on June 23, 2011 and is produced by Universal Cable Productions. The series concluded on September 25, 2019.
Suits is set at a fictional New York City law firm and follows talented college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who starts working as a law associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) despite never having attended law school.[1] The show focuses on Harvey and Mike closing cases, while maintaining Mike's secret.[2] The show also features the characters Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres).

La Casa De Papel / Money Heist

This is not so popular tv show mainly because it is in Spanish language, probable if it was produced in UK or US would achieved bigger success. Quite an original and interesting story, only the main character Tokio is annoying 😀.

About:  is a Spanish television heist crime drama series. Created by Álex Pina, the series was initially intended as a limited series to be told in two parts. It had its original run of 15 episodes on Spanish network Antena 3 from 2 May 2017 through 23 November 2017. Netflix acquired the global streaming rights in late 2017. It re-cut the series into 22 shorter episodes and released them worldwide, beginning with the first part on 20 December 2017, followed by the second part on 6 April 2018. In April 2018, Netflix renewed the series with a significantly increased budget for 16 new episodes total. Part 3, with eight episodes, was released on 19 July 2019. Part 4, also with eight episodes, will be released on 3 April 2020.

Billions

Light, pleasant, often funny. Especially the first seasons are suspenseful and great to watching. Later, the action begins to be quite predictable but it is still a nice option.

About: is an American television drama series created by Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, starring Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis, that premiered on Showtime on January 17, 2016. The series is loosely based on the activities of Preet Bharara, the former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York,[1][2] and his legal battles with hedge fund manager Steve Cohen of S.A.C. Capital Advisors.

A Confession

Based on real story which seems just insane. My friend from work recommended A Confession to me and I resisted at first but I don't regret spent my time watching because it's a really good series.

About: The true story of DS Stephen Fulcher and his hunt for missing 22-year-old Sian O'Callaghan, and how it lead to the arrest of Christopher Halliwell. This was the beginning of the capture of a prolific serial killer and the detectives own downfall.

El Chapo

Topics very similar to Narcos, i.e. drugs, money and violence. In my opinion is not as good, but if you have already watched Narcos and you want more then worth to check out.

About: is a crime television series, co-produced by Netflix and Univision, about the life of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.[1] The series premiered on April 23, 2017 on Univision before airing on Netflix worldwide.[2] It stars Marco de la O as the title character.[3]
The series recounts the beginnings of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán in 1985, when he was a low-level member of the Guadalajara Cartel, his rise to power as head of the Sinaloa Cartel, and his downfall.
