Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Palette

As we all know, I love eyeshadows but surprisingly this is my first Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. For many years, a few of them have tempted me but they always seemed a little too expensive and I found a million other reasons why it is better to hold back. I do not know if it is due to big sale or treat myself in this crisis, but finally one of their beauty that I will talking about today is mine: D.

Jackie Aina's palette I have to say that come to me life by a total accident or intervention by Makeup Gods hehe: D. I was planning to buy a new Mini Lip Gloss Set and when I check their website I saw promotions -30% on palettes. On the beginning I was planning to buy Sultry but I don't know if it's out of stock permanently or what but I couldn't find her, so my second choice fell on the palette co-created with youtuber Jackie Aina. At the time of her announcement, I wasn't entirely convinced by the color scheme, it may not be too innovative, but I am sure that I will have a lot of use from her. At a regular price costs £46 for 0.7g while I was able to get it for £32, so I think I made a great deal. If you eyeing something from ABH then it's worth to look at their official website now because they have free shipping (orders over £25) and offering good deals all the time, plus after placing the order I got an additional 15% code to use next time.

The packaging has a snake skin texture that reflects light like a duochrom, which may for some people looks great and for other cheesy, I personally prefer a slightly different style. It has a mirror and a double-sided brush which may be useful but I thought it would have more delicate bristles. Palette contains 5 mattes, 1 matte with gold flecks( Pinker), 1 duochrome and 7 metallics.

Pigmentation

I have to admit that I now fully understand the popularity of ABH eyeshadows because the quality of every single shade in this palette is amazing. You don't need to build them, the pigment is immediately visible even purple which is rarely found. Some of them are pressed pigments, so can cause eyelids staining which is quite normal.

Application

The application of these eyeshadows is very easy and pleasant, even a beginner will be can create a nice make-up. They gently fall off due to a slightly more powdery formula but is not problematic at all and I don't perceive it as a bad thing. They blend like a dream even those darker shades like Big Wig or Pinker. Metallic ones don't need to be applied wet to make them look spectacular, especially Zamn thanks to the fact that it has tiny glitter particles is really dazzling and Trust Issues which has the same formula as Nabla's Crystals. Some metallic shadows are in the formula a bit softer, more squishy which is why I am afraid that with frequent use they will quickly finish.

Usefulness

It seems to me that the colors are so well matched that everyone will find enjoyment in this palette. You can use it to make a wide range of various makeups, especially more glam, stunning thanks to these beautiful shimmers and duochrome. For those who are very pale, there will be find a lack of a softer tranzission bronze but because the creator of this palette was a black person, I understand why she was not included it here and on the one hand probably all of us already have one in their collection. At the beginning I wasn't convinced by this color story but I was totally wrong and it is really beautiful and very useful palette.

All Swatches Are Without Primer

I am very happy that I finally decided to buy a palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills and I have to admit that the quality is as great as everyone raves about. The colors story of this palette allow you to create many make-up, it's very cohesive and combine colors that seems don't match but look wonderful together like Sponsored with Shookington which you can seen in the photo of the first make-up. I also like that Jackie Aina contained several different formulas (mattes, matte with gold flecks, metallic, metallic with glitter, duochrome and my beloved formula Crystal which looks great solo but also as a topper). If you are looking for a dupes for one of the specific shades or in general the whole palette then dupping post should appear soon 😎. I will definitely buy more ABH palettes in the future and if you have the possibility, you are looking for a good palette in such warm tones then I highly recommend it.
