Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant Review

Today's post will be one of the shorter and sweetest to read about the tonic over which the biggest skincare influencers guru raving. I already have quite a good of experience with acid tonics, so I also made a short summary of those that are most worth buying for a specific purpose😀.

If you like to follow skin care gurus, then you definitley already heard about the Paula's Choice before. Was created by Paula Begoun in 1995 as one of the world’s first online beauty brands. In their assortment they have a large range of skincare products, but undoubtedly the most popular and the bestseller is already the iconic tonic ,,Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant'' which was released in 2000 wow. It's available in two sizes 30ml for the £10 and 118ml for £28. At the beginning I bought a miniature, but to be honest it is not very profitable and inefficient, so I would advise you to invest straight away in a full-size package. It doesn't have any smell or color. The bottle additionally has a protection in the form of a clip so that nothing can spill and you can safely take it on a trip or store it.

Of course, like any other tonic, you can first apply it on a cotton pad and then on the face or directly by your hands. What immediately distinguishes it from other tonics that I used before is the formula. At first it seems watery but when you massaged into the skin it feels like has an admixture of oil, you can feel such a satin coat. It's not unpleasantly sticky or heavy, so you don't have to afraid. The manufacturer promises noticeable effects after the first use, but I would take it with a pinch of salt. After the second use, I noticed that the texture of my skin became more even, but it wasn't the result that I wanted, however with regular use for about a week, the effects are really visible. If you have problems with pimples, papules etc., combining this tonic with niacinamide gives the most effective results. In fact, no tonic is able to eliminate 100% of all texture problems, it only helps to reduce their presence to some point, but the effective transformation and fight depends of your entire skin care routine. Overall, I am satisfied with how is working, I like its formula but £28 is probably a bit too high price, so if I decide buy it again, it will be happend only on really nice sale.
