Too Faced Peach Perfect' Matte Cream Foundation Review & Swatches

Too Faced Peach Perfect' Matte Cream Foundation
Too Faced Peach Perfect' Matte

This is not a new cosmetic, has been on the market for few years but I have always been very curious about it. Despite the passage of time, I still often see this foundation in other girls makeups, favorites, etc., so I thought that maybe you are also still interested to buying it and this review will be useful.

From Producer

Offering medium coverage, the Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation leaves your skin tone smoothed and perfected with just the right amount of colour. Coming in a variety of shades, you’ll be able to find a tint to suit your unique complexion perfectly. Formulated using Too Faced’s Comfort Matte Technology, the foundation will reduce shine and oiliness while being comfortable to wear, never feeling dry or tight. Boasting up to 14 hours of wear, you’ll be treated to a photo-ready finish throughout the whole day or night. Topped off with a Peach and Sweet Fig Milk scent, the liquid foundation has a fresh, fruity twist.

Too Faced peach collection review

My Opinion

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

Nice looking packaging
Has a pump
Price £27 for a Sephora or Debenhams foundation
Capacity 48 ml - standard foundation has 30ml
Doesn't oxidize
Soft matte finish
Fast and seamless in the application
Pleasant formula is neither watery nor too creamy
It doesn't wipe off during the day
Looks better over time
Transfer proof
Vegan and cruelty free
According to the manufacturer's promises, it regulates sebum production, my T-zone does not shine even after 9 hours which is very rare for me.
Looks pretty good in the wings of the nose
Definitely doesn't required to use a powder
Doesn't separate or looks cakey during the day
27 shades suitable even for pale skin

Sheer to medium coverage depending on what you use
The pores are not more visible than normal
It doesn't look good with sticky, gel primers definitely better to use a cream underneath

It looks make-upy and quite heavy <only don't with Juno sponge>
Doesn't give any blur or other additional benefits
Definitely not universal, it will only be suitable for a narrow audience
After about 3 hours, it begins to gather into mimic lines
It looks dry on the face
Makeup quickly looks not fresh and like you will be wore it already a few days
Clinging to dry patches
Emphasizes the visibility of hair on the face
Without Spf

Summary : 4.4 / 6

This is not a bad foundation but currently I prefer something what more blending into the skin and not looking as makeupy. Reminds me a little bit of worse version of popular drugstore L'Oreal Paris Infallible Fresh Wear 24hr. It can look really nice especially when I use the Juno sponge but you have to work on it, which usually I don't want or don't have a time and the skin must have this ,,better'' day. If is only lacking of moisture or hydration, I didn't sleep well and I'm tired, I have some dry patches then it looks really bad. I will definitely continue using Too Faced Peach Perfect' Matte but I thought it would be a more lightweight foundation in the formula, maybe the packaging resembling Bb / Cc creams tricked me a bit. Of course you can try it but I don't recommend if you have dry skin or mature, struggle with acne or uneven skin texture because it will only emphasize even more this areas. I am truly extremely surprised by so many positive opinions on every store websides. If you want a slightly mattifying but more flattering foundation then Urban Decay Stay Naked is a much better option.

  8. I have several Two Faced products and I like them, I have never tried their foundations because I have others that satisfy me completely. I like the fact that you mentioned all the cons, not all people do that and very often I bought stuff that let me down big. For example in this case I would have hated way to much to see the product gathering in my face lines...
