Max Factor Miracle Touch Second Skin Foundation Review & Swatches

Max Factor Miracle Second Skin Foundation
Max Factor Miracle Second Skin Foundation

I didn't plan to buy this foundation at all but I found a great offer. It has been on the market only for a few months, so there are not many reviews on social medias. Until now Maxfactor foundations were not my favorites so let's see if I finally found something from them that will stay in my vanity case for longer.

From Producer

Enriched with nourishing Coconut Milk, the Max Factor Miracle Touch Second Skin offers a smooth base for layering on makeup while leaving skin soft and supple underneath. The foundation is lightweight for a breathable, barely-there feel that can be easily blended for a natural finish. Almost undetectable, you’ll be treated to a minimalist look that’s perfect for everyday wear. Added prebiotics and probiotics restore balance to your complexion and help to shield you from environmental aggressors along with SPF20 for UV protection.

Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

My Opinion

My skin is: Combination, Irritate,  Spider veins, Dry cheeks, Oily T zone

Looks very flattering and healthy
13 Shades also for more deep complexions
Convenient packaging with a pump in the form of a tube
SPF20
Luminous natural finish
Gives a soft blur effect
Doesn't gather into wrinkles
Gives a feeling of hydration
Blends into the skin
Fast and comfortable in application
The pump releases less product than standard one, which makes it more efficient

Light sheer coverage
Strong fresh scent
Looks the best applied by fingers or Beauty Blender, with a brush or Juno sponge has better coverage but quickly separate

After about six hours it begins to looks little bit cakey especially on the chin
Price £12.99 for a drugstore foundation is a lot
Sticky on the skin even after powdering
Clinging to dry patches
If you wear glasses very badly wips off from the wings

Max Factor Miracle Touch Second Skin 01 Fair on the skin

Summary : 4.2 / 6

First and foremost describing it as a foundation is not quite correct for me because it is a formula more reminiscent of tint or light bb cream. Will be an ideal cosmetic for people looking for something light, not makeupy, such a glass skin finish and not needing coverage. Certainly it's not a very universal product but perfectly fits into current trends. Can be used not only as a "foundation" on the whole face but, for example only in the areas that we want to illuminate or to mix with other foundations. This is not a product that I will reach for everyday, but I don't regret buying it. Perfect for such a summer makeup no makeup look which I wear very rarely: D. Seems also quite innovative for a drugstore brand and can be a potential replacement for e.g. bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer.

Have you tried this foundation or you was thinking about buying it?
Do you have any recommendations from Maxfactor?
Have a lovely day
🧡💛🧡

  1. ¡¡Hola!! Pues tiene muy buena pinta este maquillaje. Me gusta que sea ligero, no siempre apetecen los maquillajes densos, ideal para tener buen aspecto sin necesidad de ir maquillada. Besitos.
