GlamGlow Honest Review

GlamGlow Clear & Glowing Skin Duo Review
GlamGlow Clear & Glowing Skin Duo

Today's post will be about the quite controversial skincare brand namely Glamglow, mainly due to of course high prices for quite ordinary cosmetics. However, this didn't stop me from buying their set, so we will find out how truly it is❔❕

Glamglow was founded by Glenn & Shannon Dellimore in 2010 and is one of those brands that invest a lot of money on influencers advertising. In their assortment you may find: Face Creams, Toners, Serums, Various Sets, Eye Creams, Cleansers, Sheet Masks and of course their most popular products Mud Masks.
I tried the set Clear & Glowing Skin Duo which contain: Glowstarter Mega-Illuminating Moisturizer (15g ) and Supermud Clearing Treatment (15g). Costs at the regular price £16 but I was able to buy it 20% cheaper. They are not large cosmetics in capacity but perfect for testing or taking with you on a trip. Glamglow can easily be found online or in-store like Sephora, Douglas or Boots.

GlamGlow opinion

Glowstarter Mega-Illuminating Moisturizer
GlamGlow Moisturizer

I can already reveal that this cream is definitely my favorite of this duo. It is a cream with brightening and moisturizers properties that gives us a glass skin effect without looking sweaty, if you know what I mean. If you have dreamed about such a radiant, healthy shiny skin like on celebrities, this is the product for you! It can be used alone or in combination with a foundation, which making it more universal. With regular use, it doesn't clog pores, doesn't dry out or irritate, so it will also be suitable for sensitive complexion. Available in three color variants, I have Nude Glow but it doesn't really have any pigment. A full-size product costs £36 for 50ml, so unfortunately quite expensive. Travel-size packaging is in the form of a squeezable tube, which makes it convenient and hygienic to use. Has quite an intense sweet scent, but is not irritating and less noticeable with time. As for me, is a great cosmetic that gives a much more elegant and "natural" effect than a typical liquid highlighter. If you want to look like a million dollars you must have this glowy beauty!

Supermud Clearing Treatment
GlamGlow Supermud mask worth the price ? Honest review

Clay masks are by far my favorites regardless of their color and they do the best for my complexion. GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment is a white clay with a black mud color that dries quite quickly but doesn't give any unpleasant feeling of being pulled off. After use, the skin is significantly refreshed, cleansed and matte to the touch. It doesn't cause any redness, irritation, etc. What I don't like very much about it, is the fact that in her formula has black particles that don't dissolve, which can also be seen on the picture. It was the first time I encountered something like this and I have already used a lot of clay masks of various brands and price ranges. The regular price is £ 44 for 50g. Is it really worth spending more on this mask? Honestly no. It does what supposed to do, but in my opinion, not better than the much cheaper clay masks that I had contact with before.

glamglow mud mask opinion

To sum up, I am glad that I bought this set mainly for this wonderful cream, but thanks to this I also know that GlamGlow clay masks are not worth the price. They are not that much better in quality and results to spend such a money on them. Mostly in this case, you pay for a nice packaging and logo brand. It's great that I had the opportunity to find out on my own skin and maybe in the future I will buy another set or face cream.
