Finally I Tried The Inkey List Skin Care

The Inkey List Worth The Hype?!  Honest Review
The Inkey List Worth The Hype?! Honest Review

Until now, one of the most popular attractively priced skincare brands was The Ordinary, but for some time it has been catching up them new discovery The Inkey List, which is growing at an unimaginably fast pace and gaining masses of fans. Do they really offer good-quality cosmetics with visible effects ?! You will find out thanks to today's review of not one, but three of their cosmetics.

The Inkey List is a brand founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018. Currently, is not as easily available as The Ordinary, but is distributed by such large drugstores as Sephora or Cultbeauty. Their offer includes both a number of products for the care of the skin of the face and recently of the hair. The prices of individual cosmetics range from £4.99 to £20.99, so they are really affordable. Their philosophy is very similar to the previously mentioned The Ordinary, namely focusing on providing a good cosmetic and basing on the most popular and fashionable ingredients than the appearance of the packaging, which makes their design very minimalist and raw.

Polyglutamic Acid
Polyglutamic Acid serum

I bought this serum first, mainly because the other cosmetics from my wishlist weren't available on Sephora in the house shipping service, but I don't regret this purchase. The packaging is in the form of a bottle with a pump, which makes it comfortable and hygienic to use. Costs £12.99 per 30 ml and is the most expensive on today's list. You can use it both during the day and at night, but my favorite destination is as a under make-up primer. It makes the foundation look fresher for many hours and lasting much longer. In addition, it doesn't rub off from problematic places and keeps the matte T zone longer while still moisturize whole face, and what is probably its greatest advantage is the smoothing texture of the skin. The skin just looks like after photoshop. None, even the best silicone primer didn't gave me such a blur that is both visible and felt into the touche. The skin becomes soft and smooth, and this effect is permanent with longer use. It is an ideal cosmetic for problematic, all types and texture-struggling complexion.

A powerful hydrator for the skin surface. Naturally found in skin, Polyglutamic Acid can hold 4x more moisture than Hyaluronic Acid. The 3% high molecular weight amino polymer is specifically designed to enhance skin moisturisation on the surface, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines, brighten and even skin tone. Perfect for make-up canvases.

Niacinamide
the best drugstore Niacinamide

Of course, testing The Inkey List I had to try out my favorite ingredient namely niacinamide. Costs £6.99 for 30 ml. The packaging has the form of a plastic bottle from which the product is poured, which is undoubtedly its drawback. As a result, after some time a white dried deposit forms on the neck of the bottle and it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. A dropper would work much better here. As for the effects, they are noticeable from the first use. It reduces the production of sebum, the imperfections are beautifully calmed down and no new ones are formed, the skin is smooth and in good condition. A great product that keeps the complexion in check.

Blemish prone skin doesn’t need to be a bother with this naturally occurring vitamin (B3), Niacinamide.
This blemish busting serum tackles the various side effects of spot prone skin such as redness and excess oil, but your skin won’t feel stripped as it is formulated with hero hydrator Hyaluronic Acid. Improve the look of spot prone skin with this daily serum.

Vitamin C Serum
the best cheap Vitamin C Serum

I wasn't sure about this cosmetic because the similar Vitamin C from The Ordinary cloged my pores really badly and unfortunately it was a total waste of money. However, I decided to take a risk and I am very pleased Costs £7.99 per 30 ml and is available only in one concentration, whose unfortunately level is not mention on the packaging. It can be used both during the day and at night. Has a very light, creamy formula that doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't cause discomfort, which is its biggest advantage. The previous Vitamin C from The Ordinary wasn't suitable for me and I felt a tingling sensation and burning, but this was not the case here, thanks to which I reach for it very often. After just a few uses, you can see a significant improvement in skin tone. The discoloration is becoming less visible and complexion is actually in a better condition. I honestly admit that so far I have never seen such results from other vitamins c and I was thinkin that this ingredient wasn't entirely suitable for my skin, but I simply didn' not find the right formula before. I am very happy with this serum and since I have it, I have been using it regularly and I haven't noticed any negatives. If you are looking for high-quality vitamin C, easy and pleasant to use, but not for millions coins, I highly recommend this one from Inkey List.

A hero antioxidant and skin brightening ingredient. It helps to tackle the appearance of hyperpigmentation, dullness and fine lines.
Formulated with 30% pure L-ascorbic Acid, this serum helps skin appear brighter and target signs of aging whilst also helping to protect against free radicals and pollution. Best used in the AM, the rich, creamy texture gives an instant smoothing effect making it a great base for makeup.

The Inkey List skin care review

Summing up my impressions about the brand itself and The Inkey List products, I am very positively surprised. As you could read all three of the cosmetics mentioned today turned out to works really well for me and I gladly included them in my skin care routine, which is really rare. Mostly, during testing a more products from one brand, I come across a totally bummer, something that doesn't work for my complexion and here is not a case. Is it better than The Ordinary etc? In fact, apart from standard products that virtually every skincare brand has in its offer, such as vitamin C or niacinamide, I don't see so many other similarities, and for me both are worth buying. In each of them you can find your must haves. I am convinced that The Inkey List will only gain new fans and popularity because I am definitely impressed and I would like to buy something from them in the future.

I get easily overwhelmed by all these products with thousand ingredients. Maybe in the future I'll try to get better information so I know what to use. Take care, great post :)
